Plain-English terms.
As of October 2026
01The short version.
No contract. Cancel any month you want. Here’s the whole deal in five lines:
- Your domain is yours from day one, registered in your name.
- The setup fee pays for the build — design, copy, photos, launch.
- The monthly pays for hosting, upkeep, and your right to keep the site live.
- If you stop paying, the site comes down and you owe nothing further.
- Want to own the site outright? Any time, for 7× the monthly. Optional.
02What you’re paying for.
Two different things, and it matters which is which.
The setup fee covers the work of building your site: the design, writing the copy, getting your photos in, and putting it live. That work is done once and it’s paid for once.
The monthly covers three things — hosting the site, keeping it updated, and your right to keep it live. Think of it the way you’d think about a phone line: the handset is one cost, the line is another, and when the line stops, the phone stops working.
So if you cancel, the site comes down. You paid for a site to be built and run, not for the files themselves. If you want to own the files, there’s a price for that and it’s in the buyout section below. You can do it any time — the day after launch or two years in.
03What’s included every month.
- Hosting, on fast infrastructure built for this.
- Upkeep — keeping the site current, secure, and loading quickly.
- Small edits, free. New phone number, changed hours, a price update, swapping in better job photos, fixing a typo. Email them to me and they get done. Most get done within two business days. A reasonable handful a month is included; a redesign or a new page gets quoted first.
- A monthly note from me with one real number — calls off your Google listing, form submissions, where you’re ranking. Never a “just checking in.”
The specific monthly work for your plan is listed in your proposal, since it’s different for each one.
What counts as a “small edit”: changing words or photos on pages that already exist. Adding a whole new page, a new section, or redesigning something gets quoted first so there are never surprise charges. Most extra pages run $150–$300.
04What’s not included.
Not to be difficult — just so nobody’s assuming:
- Ad spend or running your ads (that’s a separate add-on)
- Logo design or professional photography
- Email hosting or setting up your email accounts
- Online stores, booking systems, or customer portals
- Writing content for anything other than your site
- Missed-call text-back (available as a paid add-on — ask me)
Anything on this list can usually be done. It’s just quoted separately.
05What I need from you.
The build moves at the speed of your stuff arriving. Here’s all of it:
- A 15-minute call so I can hear how you talk about your work.
- 8–12 photos — phone pictures are perfect, no pro shoot needed. You, your crew, your trucks, finished jobs.
- Your details — license numbers, service area, real hours, which number should ring.
- One round of feedback when I send the draft, and your okay before it goes live.
That’s it. If the photos take you three weeks, the build takes three weeks longer — the clock pauses while I’m waiting, not while I’m working.
06How the build works.
| Day | What happens |
|---|---|
| Day 0 | Deposit lands. We book the 15-minute call and I send you the photo list. |
| Days 1–10 | I build it. |
| ~Day 10 | You get the draft. One round of changes is included. |
| Days 11–18 | I make your changes and get it launch-ready. |
| Days 14–21 | You approve it, it goes live, and the second half of the setup fee is due. |
Most builds land between day 14 and day 21. Your part of the timeline — photos, the call, your approval — is what moves the date, in either direction.
07Paying for it.
| Tier | Setup | Deposit to start | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $500 | $250 | $99 |
| Growth | $1,000 | $500 | $149 |
| Pro | $1,500 | $750 | $199 |
Half the setup fee starts the build. The other half is due the day the site goes live.
The deposit holds your spot on the build calendar and isn’t refundable. Once you pay it I stop taking other work for that slot and start on your site, so if you change your mind after that, the deposit stays with me.
Your first month is free. The monthly starts the month after you launch, so you get to watch the site work before you pay to keep it running. After that it’s charged on the same date each month.
No partial months. If you cancel on the 20th, that month isn’t prorated — the site just stays up through it.
08Cancelling.
There’s no contract and no minimum term. Email me or just stop paying — both count as cancelling, and none of them cost you a penalty.
Here’s exactly what happens after a payment is missed:
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Day 0 | Payment doesn’t go through. Site stays live. |
| Days 1–14 | Grace period. I’ll reach out in case it’s just a card that expired. Site stays live. |
| Day 14 | Still unpaid, so I send your cancellation notice. Site stays live. |
| Days 15–28 | Your two weeks. Pay up and nothing changes, buy the site outright, or do nothing. Site stays live. |
| Day 28 | Site comes down. Your domain stays yours and points wherever you tell it. |
That’s four weeks from a missed payment before anything disappears, and I’ll have told you twice before it does. Nothing goes dark on you without warning.
If you tell me you’re done. An email is enough — no form, no retention call. Your site stays live through the end of the month you’ve already paid for, then it comes down. Within 10 business days of your notice I remove my access and hand DNS back to you — it was always in your name — so you can point it wherever you want next. Nothing else is owed either way.
Changed your mind after it’s down? I keep a copy of your site for 30 days after takedown. Inside that window we switch it back on at the same rate you were paying — you catch up the month you missed, and there’s no new setup fee. After 30 days the copy is gone, and starting again means a new build at whatever setup costs then.
09Buying the site outright.
You can buy your site any time you want — the week after launch, a year in, or on your way out the door. It isn’t a cancellation fee and you’re never required to do it.
The price is 7× your monthly:
| Tier | Monthly | Buyout |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $99 | $693 |
| Growth | $149 | $1,043 |
| Pro | $199 | $1,393 |
What you get when you buy it:
- Every file — the complete site, handed over so it can run anywhere.
- The site keeps running. No takedown, no gap — I keep it hosted for up to 30 days while you move it.
- No strings. Host it where you like, hire whoever you like to change it, sell it with the business.
- The contact form re-pointed to you, so leads go to your inbox, not mine.
After a buyout I’m no longer hosting or maintaining the site, and the monthly stops. It’s yours to run, and you’d want a host lined up before we flip the switch — I’ll walk you through that part either way.
10Your domain.
Your domain is the address people type in, like yourbusiness.com. It’s registered in your name, on your card, and it stays yours no matter what happens between us.
A domain isn’t bought once — it renews every year, and it’s charged to your card, not mine. Most .com addresses run roughly $10 to $20 a year depending on where they’re registered. Yours is written into your proposal so there’s never a surprise.
If that card expires and the renewal fails, the domain lapses and your site goes dark even though nothing else changed. Once it fully expires, someone else can grab it, and buying it back gets expensive fast.
So I’ll give you a heads-up before each renewal comes around. Keeping a working card on that account is the one piece of this I can’t do for you.
11If pricing ever changes.
Your rate never goes up. Start at $99 and you pay $99 for as long as you’re with me. Five years from now, when new customers are paying more, you’re still at $99. Grandfathered means grandfathered — the earlier you get in, the better your price stays.
Two honest footnotes. A brand-new add-on you ask for later is priced at whatever it costs then. And if you cancel and come back more than 30 days later, you come back at the rate that’s current when you return — inside that 30-day window, your old rate still stands. The rate you’re on now, for the work you’re getting now, doesn’t move.
12What’s yours from day one.
These belong to you the whole time, whether you stay a month or ten years, and nothing here is ever held back:
- Your free mockup — the concept I build before you decide anything is yours to keep. I won’t take it down to pressure you and I won’t build that same design for a competitor. If you want it as a real, live site on your own domain, that’s the build.
- Your domain name — registered in your name, on your card.
- Your photos — the ones you send me stay yours.
- Your words — your business name, your story, anything you wrote.
- Your Google Business Profile — your account, your reviews, your logins. I’ll ask for access to manage it; it stays in your name and I hand it back whenever you ask.
- Your email. I don’t touch it or take it over.
- Your phone number and your customers. Obviously, but worth saying.
What isn’t yours unless you buy it: the site files themselves — the code, the layout, and the design work behind them.
13A few honest details.
Getting hold of me. I answer messages within one business day, usually faster. If your site is actually down, that jumps ahead of everything else. I’m one person, not a call center — you’ll always be talking to me.
Uptime. Your site runs on Cloudflare’s network, the same infrastructure big companies use. Nobody can honestly promise 100% uptime and I’m not going to.
Rankings. I can do the work that helps you show up on Google. I can’t promise a position, and anyone who does is selling you something. What I will do is show you the numbers every month so you can see what’s actually happening.
What the site says is on you. Your license numbers, your warranty claims, whether you really do answer 24/7 — I’ll write what you tell me, and it needs to be true. Same with photos: what you send me needs to be yours to use.
Changes to these terms. If I update this page later, the version you agreed to is the one that applies to you, unless you agree to a new one.
Where this is based. Veximo is in the Treasure Valley, Idaho, and these terms follow Idaho law.
